Born in Alabama, married 48 years, with three children and two grandchildren, Alice Elayne Easterlin attended Alabama College and the University of Alabama in Birmingham. She taught voice and piano while living in Georgia and Ohio, then moved to Florida where she and her husband own their own distribution business.
After working and raising her family, she decided to take the plunge and begin a new career as a fiction writer. Her debut novel, Sonata by Moonlight, first in the series Heroes and Half-Notes, was published by Wild Rose Press in September 2015. The second in the series, A Little Night Music, is due out in 2016. Her first historical, A Necessary Woman, will be out June 16, 2016.
Alice has traveled extensively in Europe and the US, and formed a special love affair with the American West and all things cowboy. Many of her novels are set in the beautiful mountains and prairies of Wyoming and Montana, as well as, her hometown of Birmingham, Alabama.
